The hidden words of Bahaullah, corrected. From the Arabic.
My first counsel is this, possess a pure, kindly and radiant heart.
By loving you are loved. My love is my stronghold.
Find yourself in me. You are my dominion and my dominion does not parish. As you are part you shall not perish. Look upon my face. My sovereignty endures and my dominion does not parish. If you seek other than me, then you shall find me in different cloth.
I have breathed within you a breath from my own spirit that you may be my lover. You sought a lover other than me and there is room for even more through wonder.
My claim on you is great. My grace to you is plentiful. My love has made a home in you. My light is your enlightenment.
I made you noble yet you have abused yourself. Aspire to the nobility for which you were created. Though the nobility shall end with death life shall continue and that, itself, is noble.
Do not speak of the sins of others. He that speaks of injustice and commits inequity is of me, though not the best of me.
Make a personal accounting each day.
With enlightenment rejoice and abide with me. Feel as you live.
Remember my commandments and my counsel. Speed through space and time if that is your path to me.
Seek to avoid martyrdom but if it comes upon your path be content with it. Humble yourself. Your hearing is my hearing. Your sight is my sight. Hear and see in me your inner most soul and witness. Be my beauty. Be my life.
Ponder and reflect. Cherish fate. Cherish fate’s unfolding. Busy yourself with this world as you would have it become.
The temple of being is my throne. There I began and there I abide. Your house is my home. Your spirit is my place of revelation.
Many a day passes with imaginings. How long should be my meditation? Lift up your head from meditation when the sun rises. It may shine upon you with the light of beauty. It may breath into your heart.
Eternity is my creation. I have created it for you. Make it a garment of my temple.
My identity is my handiwork. I have made it for you.
My majesty is my gift to you.
By my spirit and by my favor, by my mercy and by my beauty, all that I have revealed to you is within your capacity to understand.
It is incumbent on you to be even as one’s soul, to walk with the same feet, eat with the same mouth and dwell in the same land, that from your inner most being, by your deeds and actions, the signs of oneness may be made manifest.
Know that I have put myself into you. Be content with my pleasure and thankful to me.
